“Women of Vision: Art, Activism & Exploration”

About the Collection

These paintings are a dedication to three brazen women; Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Katie Lee, each of whom made significant contributions to the arts and culture in their respective fields. Kahlo and O'Keeffe were groundbreaking female artists in a male dominated contemporary art world, while Katie Lee was a passionate activist, folk singer, and environmentalist known for her advocacy to protect Glen Canyon. They each left a lasting impact and legacy on their communities and beyond.

"I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality." Frida Kahlo

"I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way—things I had no words for." Georgia O’Keeffe

"I'm not an environmentalist, I'm an Earth warrior." Katie Lee
